About Me
My name is Jade and I am an Author Conservatory student who aims to write for disappointed readers - to renew your love of reading where you don't have to worry about inappropriate content or immoral main characters. Instead, I give readers like you adventures, moral characters, virtuous themes, and fantastical worlds built to challenge you to chase your "impossible" dreams.

I am an artist, cosplayer, and writer who grew up loving creepy critters and magical fairytales. When I was young I read stories of fantastical worlds and far-off adventures that embraced uniqueness, sparking the storyteller in my heart. Now I write about quirky characters and magical worlds designed to encourage young adults to embrace wonder in the ordinary and remind them that we live in a whimsical world. ​
I draw inspiration for my magical worlds from my own adventures sailing, hiking, hunting, long road trips, ziplining, camping, and shark fishing.
When I am not far from home, I find little adventures crafting cosplay costumes from my favorite shows, or dressing up to patronize my local restaurant that hosts live pirate music. When at home, I resort to painting unusual objects, tending to my hoard of plants, drawing characters, crafting elaborate makeup looks, and creating sculptures from clay. You will find me attempting to fly with handmade fairy wings, kidnapping local toads, and reading old literature.

My mission is to provide young adults with whimsical adventures set in fantastical worlds with virtuous characters who chase their dreams, overcome their fears, and defeat evil.

These stories will not cut out darkness or ignore the reality that the world can be a hard and challenging place, but will choose to highlight adventure and wonder. This is a small change that shifts the focus from shutting down against fears to living a great story.

Through my stories I will talk about topics relevant to current time, while still keeping the old magic of wonder alive and thriving.

The overall goal of my writing and all I do, is to create a tight community focused around embracing differences, uplifting others, discussing mental health, and expanding the social norm to help people realize how wonderful individuality really is.
